# Hotlink Denial on Wowza Streaming Engine

How do I do this with the new version. I see outgoing security -\> client restrictions. However, can I only put IP addresses in here and not domains? Will this work the same as the old module?

Hi,
At the moment, the old hotlink denial module has not been included in the new security settings for Wowza Streaming Engine. There were plans to add it but it still needs work to integrate properly.
For now, please continue to use the module that you were using with the previous versions.

Hi,
Yes that’s correct, the hotlink denial module should work exactly as it did with version 3.

Awesome, thanks for the help. I just wanted to make sure that the plugin was still compatible.
