# HLS wowzaplaystart after last key frame

Hi Wowza,

If I set the wowzaplaystart time after the last key frame of a video in our wowza hls application. The video is played from the start to the end and not from the wowzaplaystart time.

Our system doesn’t know de last keyframe times of our video. So I can’t use them to check against the wowzaplaystart start time.

How can play the video from the last key frame?

Hi Marcel,

It would be very useful for us to see an example of this so we can do further analysis ourselves. Can you write up a detailed description of your process and please include a copy of your [install-dir]/logs/ and [install-dir]/conf/ files and send it to support@wowza.com. This will generate a support ticket for you and us to track. It would also be very useful if you could include an example video which demonstrates this.

Hi Paul,

We just have tested this problem with Wowza 4.0.6 and it seems Wowza 4.0.6 fixes the problem. Previously we tested it with an older Wowza version.
