# HLS not live until button push

HI,

we use HLS to pull video into a HTML5 player on our platform. We currently have to physically refresh the page when we have put the HLS in.

I was wondering if there was a way that a HLS could be up in but not go live as soon as you click start stream in Wowza?

You could use the Stream Scheduler option. Have you tried that? It takes a few minutes for the transcoder to start up and could buy you some time to refresh your page.

I don’t think there is a way to delay it though once you hit start stream manually.
