We are using Jwplayer and Wowza 4.2.0 currently. We made m3u8 playlist to our webserver where Jwplayer is also located. In the playlist there is different addresses to our stream to Wowza server using transcoder and different qualities. I can connect and get stream to play with direct addresses to videoplayer or using Safari browser, but using m3u8 playlist it just cannot play the stream, although I can see player connecting to server from logs.

How can it be fixed?

Hello,

The stream URL should look something like this: [wowza-ip-address]:1935/vod/sample.mp4/playlist.m3u8

I would review setting up [Wowza Streaming Engine with JW Player](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-use-jw-player-with-wowza-streaming-engine)

and if you need [Adaptive Bitrate using JW Player](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-use-jw-player-with-adaptive-bitrate-streaming-from-wowza-streaming-engine)

If this does not resolve your issue, I recommend opening a [support ticket](https://www.wowza.com/support/open-ticket) with the below logs for the Wowza Support Team to further investigate.

[install-dir]/conf

[install-dir]/logs

[install-dir]/transcoder

[install-dir]/manager/logs

If you are not sure how to get this information please see the following tutorial.
