# HLS ingest not compatible with discontinuities

Hi,

HLS ingest does not seem to be compatible with discontinuities (test stream: [http://www.djing.com/tv/live.m3u8](http://www.djing.com/tv/live.m3u8))

I also noticed that it has more trouble detecting a single stream (eg: [http://www.djing.com/tv/03.m3u8](http://www.djing.com/tv/03.m3u8)) than an adaptive rate stream

Here are the errors reported at every EXT-X-DISCONTINUITY

Regarding ingest and discontinuities, what version of Wowza are you running?

It might be better to open a ticket [HERE](https://www.wowza.com/support/open-ticket) and include your /conf and /log files and we can take a look into this to see if we support this or not.
