Hi

is it possible to make hds stream with bitrate selection or how can I accomplish this?

I need live stream with time shift (ndvr?) in three bitrates and to have possibility to manual choose stream quallity.

I have flowplayer.

Thanks for any advice, i don’t know where to start.

Hi,

A good place to start is [How to use Flowplayer with Wowza Streaming Engine](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-use-flowplayer-with-wowza-media-server-software#SMIL). It includes example code for ABR streams. Providing an option to pick a rendition is really down to the player. Some players of ABR streams will perform dynamic switching of the stream on the fly - depending on available network resources and resolution. They may not offer the option to the player as such.

[This Flowplayer page](http://flash.flowplayer.org/plugins/streaming/bwcheck.html) has more information.
