# hardware recommended to transcode 4 video streams

Hi i would like to know what you guys recommend in terms of hardware (aws, dedicated serveR) to transcode 4 streams with 4 bitrates each one example:

stream 1: will have 1080p, 720, 480p, 240p

and so on.

I already have a server Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-1620 v3 @ 3.50GHz with 32gb ram but after i setup the first stream, cpu goes up and video shows very slow and with a lot of lag i think because my server doesnt have any gpu card?
