# Hardware encoder question

Hi, we are looking to buy a hardware encoder appliance with hdmi inputs.
We saw some encoders from a chinese distributor, these:
Support for IP unicast and multicast network
Support spts/mpts over udp-ip
4way HDMI HD signal, each encoding 0.5-20Mbps
Support local and remote control network, and also support network upgrade
Variable PCR re-correcting for different network
1080i,720p HD video resolution
Built-in time base correction and video pre-processing
PID modifying and PSI/SI generating
DVB Interface: 2x ASI, Comply to EN 50083-9 ASI Standard, BNC, 75Ω
Output Format: 188bytes
IP output: 100M Base-T Ethernet interface UDP
Is this encoder compatible with wowza?
Do you know some hardware encoder with 2 or 4 hdmi inputs that works with wowza? We tried to contact haivision but the didnt answer, our budget is around 3k to 6k usd for this.

We can provide you Analog/Composite encoders which can go upto SD quality @ 4Mb
You can see the results here: www.dabang.pk/test
Its CIF quality 352×288 @ 350bit rate
Our encoders are compatible with: wowza/fms/red5/youtubelive/livestream/etc…
Our encoder support RTMP/RTSP/TS stream.
You can get 2 output stream for same server. One high quality other low for mobile.
Encoder price is $500 with purchase of 20 unit atleast.

Thanks, we need sd too (but the hdmi version is a requeriment too for the other encoder)
Your hardware can deinterlace? And is fully compatible with wowza?

Hi…i am a new user here. As per my knowledgeyou can use app-sink/app-src to develop your application. For OMX interface, library should be ok, but we don’t have official support, you can refer the source code from gst-omx component if you insist in this way.
