I’ve configured Streaming Engine to stream an audio-only conference call from FreeSWITCH. The inbound audio is G711, 8kbps over RTMP. I setup an audio-only transcoder, then use the RTMP test player to playback the audio. What I’m getting is a sporadic blast of audio (~250 ms, I’d guess), then 4-5 seconds of silence, then another short blast of audio. ---

Should anybody run into this in the future, my problem was caused by a bug in FreeSWITCH: [https://freeswitch.org/jira/browse/FS-11036](https://freeswitch.org/jira/browse/FS-11036). ---

Hi Dan, not sure you’ll get this, so many years afterwards… Did you use mod\_rtmp on FS to get an audio-only conference out to Wowza?
