# Get stream id on Android

Hello guys, I read the documentation and the examples but I can’t find what I’m looking for. There are multiple methods to set/get multiple fields (host address, port number, …) but I don’t find anything related to an id. Could you help me?

Hi David,

It sounds like you are referring to the streamName, which uniquely identifies the stream object for your particular Wowza application instance.If so, there is also a setter/getter method for this property as well.
