# Get a file size in time

Hi all,

We’re using HLS format. Would like to know the file size in time in order to take specific action. How can I achieve that?  
I have a URL like this: http://[IP]:1935/blizzard\_vod/mp4:dwtest\_stream\_93712450-c33c-4b45-9022-f30e17254beb.mp4/playlist.m3u8 and I would like to know what is the file dwtest\_stream\_93712450-c33c-4b45-9022-f30e17254beb.mp4 length in seconds/minutes or whatever unit but not in bytes.
