# generating thumbnails using https???

I can generate and link to our thumbnails using http but of course in this day and age when everyone, our sites included, use https linking to a http thumnbail throws up all sorts of browser warnings. is there a way to generate the thumbnails form wowza as a https link ? if now what is a good work around?

I’m having the same problem. Now that chrome is blocking http inside of https sites, I can no longer use the thumbnails.

Hi, I had the same problem once.  
do all the right things but for port 443… entry for tlhumnail etc.  
and now:  
[https://12345678cd.streamlock.net/thumbnail?application=NAMEAPP&streamname=NAME.stream&size=360x180&fitmode=letterbox](https://12345678cd.streamlock.net/thumbnail?application=NAMEAPP&streamname=NAME.stream&size=360x180&fitmode=letterbox)  
that’s all

Has your problem been solved ? If not another way to do it is to access the images through a different lightweight web server python etc ) which has https enabled. Of course it’s best if you use https on wowza directly
