# Force Wowza to stream specific bitrate

Hello,

We are supporting 3 different bitrates through our smil files. What I need is to force WSE to stream by using specific bitrate that I am going to provide as a parameter in the query. My address is:

http://[wse-ip]:1935/scvrc\_north\_vod/smil:west\_stream\_a30eea4c-f4a8-4e9d-addb-7a2977ab7cdf.smil/playlist.m3u8

I have tried passing as parameter:

- ?bitrate=350000

- ?bandwith=350000

None of them works. I have defined the different bitrates in my smil file.

How should I force WSE to stream using specific bitrate (in my case 350000 bps)?
