# Facebook Live, Save Stream but Error on Live

I have setup a facebook live stream, it shows up on my page, anytime i click on the play button or try to view the live stream from my facebook on my phone or a web browser, there is an issue and it doesnt play.

Once i stop the stream, the recorded version is available.

not sure how live streaming works with FB, if it acts as a CDN or passes the RTMP stream through to the facebook clients.

Thanks for contacting the Wowza Community!

This sounds like a possible codec issue. Can you confirm the codecs meets the Facebook [requirements](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-stream-to-facebook-live-using-wowza-streaming-engine#requirements)?

If they do, can you open a ticket[HERE](https://www.wowza.com/support/open-ticket) and provide your most recent logs and conf files?
