# Extracting ScreenShots

Is it possible to extract screenshots of the stream when using nDVR to record a stream? I know transcoder can do it which is not a solution I want. If this is not possible with wowza is it possible with some other stuff (eg. ffmpeg). Will this feature be available in a future release?

I do not know a way to take a screenshot of the dvr recording once it stops.

Is it possible to take the screenshot from the ndvr recording of the stream once the recording has stopped. If I understand the above code correctly it is taking the screenshots of the live stream during the recording.
