# EXT-X-ENDLIST added for live streams to detect end of stream

There is absolutely zero documentation and none of the threads shed light how to configure. But where does this config property get set ? I’ve placed it everywhere and stopping the encoder doesn’t show up in the manifests. I still get empty 404 requests to HLS so no way to detect end of stream,

What exactly is a map file entry.

Is there such a feature for live dash also ?
