# Excessive use of bandwidth

Dear All,

I don’t understand why outgoing traffic sometimes shoots up. When it shouldn’t be right. If we add the connected and outgoing traffic is more than double. This causes Amazon to pay an excessive amount for bandwidth in AWS.
