Do you have a sample for reading the embedded closed captioning either 608/708 within the rtmp live stream that passes through wowza? sample with the player is appreciated. ---

Mike, Are the embedded captions CEA-608/CEA-708? Wowza can not convert from CEA-608/CEA-708 at present, only to. It is a future feature, but I don’t have a time frame or know exactly what will be supported. Richard ---

If there is CEA-608 data in the incoming live stream Wowza passes that through to iOS clients. So it should work in that case Richard ---

So, the only question is whether you’ll have that feature by the time the FCC closed caption rules apply. I know you can’t answer that, but anything you can do to get there is appreciated.
