# EC2 C5 support

Hello

I’m running Wowza Engine (installed via AWS Marketplace) on an EC2 M5.2xlarge instance.

I would like to change to a C5 instance type, but getting

_An error occurred while trying to change the instance type for this instance_  
_The instance configuration for this AWS Marketplace product is not supported. Please see the AWS Marketplace site for more information about supported instance types, regions, and operating systems._

What do I need to do to change it?

I found C4 in the supported list, but there are no C4 in the list of instance types in the console.

Two options:

1. Get a vanilla instance with your favorite Linux flavor and install Wowza manually

2. Send a message to [support@wowza.com](mailto:support@wowza.com) and be patient …
