# DVR Streaming with multicast?

This is the guide for live streaming from IP camera:

Wowza will make one connection to the camera and re-stream to many clients. Is that what you are trying to do? (Multicast is something a little different.)

Wowza doesn’t support DVR functionality for live streams at present.
