# Disable Client Playback

Hello Wowza,

Is there a way to disable client playback from origin server and only allow all playbacks from edge servers and/or CDN?

Hi,

AllowDomains is the list of swf domain names that are allowed to connect to the appInstance. It is the domain name of the actual flash swf file. It was originally used to provide similar functionality to what was available in FMS and generally isn’t used.
