# Digital Rapids Stream encoder + ModuleRTMPAuthenticate fails to authenticate

I am setting up encoding from the Digital Rapids encoder into Wowza, using the ModuleRTMPAuthenticate module for authenticating the encoder. I then set the digital rapids encoder to use ‘server with authentication’. However, it doesn’t work - it says ‘failed to start encoding’ and if I hover over the first stream it says ‘unable to publich broadcast stream’.
If I disable authentication on Wowza, the streaming works OK. If I use FMLE, it authenticates OK.
I am using Digital Rapids Stream version 3.4.0b35 and Wowza 3.0.4
