# Developer license expires within minutes of installing

Hello everyone!

I was playing with a trial version for some time until the trial license expired. At that time, I figured I needed a few more weeks before my Wowza extensions would be ready for the prime time, so I applied for the Developer license, received it in the email and installed. Now, when I start the server, it starts up without errors, runs for a couple of minutes and then shuts down saying that “The license has expired”. According to the email, my license should be good until May 2015… Please help!

Hello, I think your best bet here would be to email support@wowza.com, or billing@wowza.com.

They will be able to diagnose the license issue and possibly issue a new one. Not really sure what else to suggest here.
