# detecting media rotation

We are streaming to wowza using an iPhone and RTSP. Working great, except that wowza does not seem to capture the rotation flag. Is there anyway to see the metadata being sent to the wowza server from the broadcast app or to confirm that even if it is being sent the rotation flag it doesnt pass it on to the recorded file?

I am not sure how to check that, but in my tests with GoCoder, playback does flip as you rotate the device during streaming.

kconner32, did you finda solution to this problem? I’m facing the same thing.
