Hi

I have looked at the documentation but am struggling with this. I have five different bitrate H.264 video files (mp4) each with muxed audio files. I also have a higher bitrate standalone audio file (ac3). I would like my .smil file to enable ABR in the usual way for video but with audio chunks always coming from the ac3. I have tried different SMILs but either the player uses the muxed audio or it doesn’t work at all. Can someone give me an example template file for the above?

Hello,

Without looking at the SMIL file you are using its difficult to assess what could be going on with your setup.

First thing I would recommend is to check out the [following article](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-use-alternative-audio-or-video-tracks-with-mpeg-dash-streams#vodselective) that relates to this topic.

If you do still require further assistance, please consider [opening a new support ticket](https://www.wowza.com/support/open-ticket) so our support team can assist you.

You can also use the following custom module to control which audio and video tracks are sent to the player: [https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-select-multiple-tracks-from-a-vod-file-modulemultitrackvod](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-select-multiple-tracks-from-a-vod-file-modulemultitrackvod)
