# CupertinoPacketHandler.startStream (On incoming streams)

On “incmoing Streams”  
After “CupertinoPacketHandler.startStream” on initial connection  
It takes 8 seconds to “LiveStreamPacketizerCupertino.endChunkTS”. Why does it take time? I would like to reduce it much more than this.  
Any way would be greatly appreciated.  
Because I guess it seems that HLS transmission can only be received after “LiveStreamPacketizerCupertino.endChunkTS” is executed.

Tech support thinks 8 seconds is a bit excessive and request you send a ticket to see if they can reduce that by adjusting the segment size and segments per manifest. Have you tried that already in the cupertino properties?
