hello I install Wowza Streaming Engine 4.0 Trial locally on Windows 7 to test, but I can not connect. I get the error message: “Could not connect to server: [http://localhost:8087](http://localhost:8087)” I tried both as localhost: “[http://localhost:8088/enginemanager/ftu/signinfailed.htm](http://localhost:8088/enginemanager/ftu/signinfailed.htm)” is that the problem is the port in 8088 or in 8087? help me thank you ---

Hi, Are you sure that Wowza is started? Wowza Streaming Engine 4 does not work with the Wowza 3 key and you will have to apply for a new key if this is the case. To apply for a Wowza Streaming Engine 4 key you can either [Get a Developer License](https://www.wowza.com/media-server/developers/license) or [Get a Wowza Streaming Engine Trial](https://www.wowza.com/pricing/trial) Once you have a valid key, ensure you’re using a Wowza Streaming Engine 4 key in the [Wowza-Install]/conf/Server.license file. Save the file after editing and start Wowza. Hi, Have you checked the [Wowza-Install]/conf/Server.license file to confirm that your Wowza 4 key is within? Ensure Wowza Streaming Engine is started using the[Start Server Guide](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-install-and-configure-wowza-streaming-engine#startServer). Ensure Wowza Streaming Engine Manager is started using the [Start Manager Guide](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-install-and-configure-wowza-streaming-engine#startManager) If you’re not using localhost to access Wowza Streaming Engine Manager please see the [White-list configuration guide](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-install-and-configure-wowza-streaming-engine#whitelist). hello i have same problem here !!! im using Wowza Streaming Engine 4 Trial Edition (Expires: sept. 04, 2014) 4.0.1 build10615 and i download the software from site and recive the key yesterday !! who can help please ---

Hello, I have this following issue with my Wowza server engine I started it manually from services.msc but it does not start it gives me an error with code 9009 any solution please
