# Constant Bitrate(CBR) settings in wowza

Hello there and welcome to the Wowza support forum.

As far as I am aware there is no way to ensure CBR other than setting it up at the encoder.

you could take a look at [this forum post](http://community.wowza.com/t/-/684) and try the suggestions, but the results are inconclusive.
