# Changing My local host for wowza Streaming Engine Manager

Hello

I recently migrated my data from one Linux VPS to another. I am having issues with configuring my Wowza Streaming Engine (4.8.0) to fit into the new server settings. How can i change the localhost to the new server?

Assuming this is a different instance with a different IP have you consider updating DNS record ? If the ports are open and server is running normally without error (in new environments) it should already be accessible at localhost (engine manger as well as wse). To point new IP to FQDN you might need to update DNS record. Is that what you are looking for ?
