# Centos8, EOL. Whats the best alternative?

Hi,  
CentOS 8 has trouble and a short EOL. I can’t explain so good but i understand, that CentOS8 will stop development and should not used anymore for productive Environments?

Is it possible to use CloudLinux8 maybe for Wowza Streaming Engine?  
CL is centos based but still will be developed further.

I would say It is better to stay with Ubuntu releases any day. They are updated better and supported better.
