# Can't get metadata ID3 tags for iOS

I am playing a stream m3u8 playlist and the ID3 metadata tags are supposed to be captured on the iOS client. But it seems I can’t retrieve anything. On iOS I implemented an observer with “timedMetadata” but the metadata I received is empty.

Do I need to configure additionally on the wowza server? Or is there lacking implementation on the iOS side.
