# can't change transcoder settings

I just launched a new amazon ec2 medium instance but when I go to the transcoder section to add some qualities only 2 of the qualities are pre-selected, and while I can create new ones, I cant activate them.

My apologies if this is a dumb question, but I’m new to wowza and this is kinda frustrating for me. Am I missing something simple?

Hi stokedcrf1,

Go ahead and click on the preset you want to enable (the blue link) then the next page will have the enable option.
