Hi! We are trying to use Wowza to get stream from our system. We use the following string to get the stream: “rtsp://X.X.X.X:554?stream=256&content=video&type=live&size=sif&framerate=10&username=anonymous&password=guest&bitrate=128000” and in VLC it works fine. But in Wowza we have errors in log: "MediaCasterConnection.connect: Failed to connect[X.X.X.X:554] : org.apache.mina.common.RuntimeIOException: Failed to get the session[ConnectException: null].|at org.apache.mina.common.support.DefaultConnectFuture.getSession(DefaultConnectFuture.java:71)|at com.wowza.wms.mediacaster.MediaCasterConnection.connect(MediaCasterConnection.java:70)|at com.wowza.wms.mediacaster.rtp.RTPSessionDescriptionDataProviderBasicRTSPWorker.doConnect(RTPSessionDescriptionDataProviderBasicRTSPWorker.java:2074)|at com.wowza.wms.mediacaster.rtp.RTPSessionDescriptionDataProviderBasic.getSessionDescriptionData(RTPSessionDescriptionDataProviderBasic.java:336)|at com.wowza.wms.mediacaster.rtp.RTPMediaCaster.getStreamInfo(RTPMediaCaster.java:206)| ERROR server comment 2015-05-17 10:26:53 - - - - - 319508.151 - - - - - - - - " Please help! Hello there and welcome to the Wowza support forum. Both errors are related to network connectivity problems, an inability to connect to the MediaCaster stream. Look at previous log lines for clues. I recommend installing [Advanced Stream Monitor](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-enable-advanced-monitoring-and-resetting-of-mediacaster-streams), which monitors and resets unhealthy streams and Server monitoring with JConsole. Please take a look at the [How to specify per-stream settings in .stream files](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-specify-per-stream-settings-in-stream-files#rtspstreams_file) forum article which describes how to specify per-stream settings in .stream files to override those in the application configuration for the stream. Please enable the rtspFilterUnknownTracks, rtpIgnoreProfileLevelId and rtpIgnoreSPropParameterSets. In some cases, for some IP cameras, these settings can help with the playback of RTMP streams. Hello! I installed Advanced Stream Monitor but nothing has changed. I think it has a problem to access rtsp url because it’s not standard. But VLC plays it well. What can we do? Thanks. ---
