# Can WSE decode and output to a capture card like blackmagic

Is it possible to install a capture card in the server an have the streaming engine output to it?

Wowza Streaming Engine will not “see” any capture cards on the operating system and as such cannot connect to one.

Capture cards are typically used to connect to a physical camera and then have a video encoder connect to the card to deliver the live feed from the camera to a server.

Then, is there anyway to have a physical output of the stream from the server?

Output from Wowza Streaming Engine is network based only.
