# Bandwidth metadata in master playlist for HLS not accurate

Hi,
I have setup an input rtmp stream and transrate to transrate the streams into 2 bandwidth in 350k and 200k. However after publishing the 2 streams in an adaptive group, the master playlist reports the bandwidth of the individual streams as 590k and250k. this is in the playlist.m3u8 master playlist. why is this ?

Hi, some addition to the problem. could this be because of the HLS overhead. I notice if i just do pass through for a rtmp stream of 400k, the HLS output will be about 500k or more (max output) in the graph. How can i minimised such hls overhead ? thanks
