# Axis 214PTZ Problem

Hi,

I hope anybody can help me, i have Wowza Media Server, and a Axis 214PTZ camera… I’m trying to connect to my Axis camera on rtsp://username:password@IP/mpeg4/media.amp

Wowza says connected, and when i see the live stream (flash or HSL) it says stream stops!

Hi,

According to the specs the Axis 214 PTZ camera is MPEG4 and MJPEG only. It doesn’t support the required H.264

codec to work natively with Wowza Streaming Engine.

MPJEPG isn’t supported at all. MPEG4 can be used as long as the Wowza Transcoder is configured to encode the video into H.264.
