# AWS disables support for SSLv3 for the Amazon S3 service

Hi,

We received notice that AWS will disable support for SSLv3 for Amazon S3.

What is the impact for the MediaCache plugin using Amazon S3 sources? I want to confirm that we can still play media from S3 using MediaCache after the May 20 2015 deadline.
