# Audio when playing a video in slow motion?

Hello,

I am working on setting up slow motion for a language learning website. The slow motion seems to work for the video, but the audio stops playing. Is it possible to play audio when streaming in slow motion? Is this feature planned?

No, there is no slow-audio. And I don’t think there is any plan to support it.

Keep in mind that the slow motion is just a series of seeking, no different if you were to do it on your own, in turn there will not be any audio except for some blips. The best bet is to actually make a slow motion video with Premiere or After Effects or some other video editing product and use that. I made an example of that somewhere… I’ll have to find it.

Here is that example I was thinking about. It’s rudimentary in that smart buffering etc and streaming isn’t done but hopefully you can get the idea
