Hi, I am attempting to stream videos-on-demand (VOD) to a ChromeCast Device (CCD). According to CCD documentation at [https://developers.google.com/cast/docs/media](https://developers.google.com/cast/docs/media), they support the following protocols.

- MP4

- WebM

- MPEG-DASH

- SmoothStreaming

- HTTP Live Streaming

- [http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/gtv-videos-bucket/sample/BigBuckBunny.mp4](http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/gtv-videos-bucket/sample/BigBuckBunny.mp4)

- rtsp://www.domain.com:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4 works for native Android media player

- [http://www.domain.com:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4/manifest.mpd](http://www.domain.com:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4/manifest.mpd) should theoretically work (ABR)

No, this is not possible with Wowza. You can of course do this (progressive download) from a web server, but that does not support ABR (which requires a server to perform switches requested by a client), or any of the other benefits of a streaming server.
