# As deliver multiple videos (mp4) for access to "Wowza Transcoder AddOn" and security

Good night, have always used live applications. I really like Wowza thank you!

I found this tutorial that teaches in live mode, [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcaK9K613Po&list=WL&index=4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcaK9K613Po&list=WL&index=4).

But now, I have a client that has multiple mp4 files, and wanted to make them available using the Wowza Transcoder AddOn technology.

And I did not find this tutorial to teach the available files safely.

This would have had access logging, and security in the case of classes, someone would have something to recommend me?

Hi,

The Wowza Transcoder AddOn is currently only for use with live streams. It cannot currently Transcode mp4 files.

The Wowza Streaming Engine provides some built-in security functions, such as Secure Token and client IP address whitelist

and blacklist, all discussed [here.](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-configure-security-using-wowza-streaming-engine-manager)

There’s also this [newly available method](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-control-access-to-your-application-by-checking-referer-domain-modulereferervalidate%28ModuleRefererValidate%29) of protecting your application from hot-linking.
