Hello and good time of day.

How to configure Wowza to get vod via links like

```auto
http://[wowza-ip-address]:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4/manifest.f4m?wowzaplaystart=30000&wowzaplayduration=40000

```

like mentioned in [this](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-specify-a-play-start-time-and-duration-for-http-streaming) article.

Hello there,

If you are running Wowza version 3.0 or greater there is not any configuration needed to do this with simple VOD applications. You just use the URL you referred to.

For adaptive bitrate streaming, see the **SMIL file** or **MediaList API** configuration steps in the guide you linked to.

Thanks, maybe then i need tuning on client flash (FLEX 4.6) player?

When i try to set _http://[ip]:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4/manifest.f4m_ as source to VideoDisplay i get playback error.

Rtmp / direct http link works well.
