# Access to EngineManager WebUI doesn't work since configuring a new  virtual adapter

Hello,

Everything was working very well with my Wowza installation untill we decide to make available a stream on port 80.

Since apache was running on the same server we decide to order a new failover ip and to configure it on our server as a virtual network device, eth0:1.

I configure my “VHost.xml” replacing \* by My\_New\_IP and my “Server.xml”.

Everything works fine except the EngineManager WebUI. When i try to connect i obtain this :

Wowza Streaming Engine Manager could not connect to the Wowza Steaming Engine ([http://localhost:8087](http://localhost:8087)). Verify that the Wowza Streaming Engine service has started and is running.

Or

Wowza Streaming Engine Manager could not connect to the Wowza Steaming Engine ([http://My\_server\_ip:8087](http://My_server_ip:8087)). Verify that the Wowza Streaming Engine service has started and is running.

if i try to manual set the ip of the server.

If i try to access [http://My\_server\_ip:8087](http://My_server_ip:8087) directly i can see in the console

ERROR server comment - REST API: Server request (GET): Not licensed-402: [http://My\_Server\_IP:8087/favicon.ico](http://My_Server_IP:8087/favicon.ico)

Does anybody know this problem?

Hi Richard

It would be very useful if you could raise a support ticket with us for this so we can take a further look into it. Please include the following when raising a ticket:

- A ZIP file containing your conf/, logs/, transcoder/ and manager/logs folders. If you are not sure how to get this information please see the following tutorial. Please do make sure you provide logs which show Wowza server starting.
