# Access specific files within the playlist

Goal to fully automate uploads then publish to a playlist, then from a website call the playlist with a specific time and date which retrieve be a specific recording.

I have the embed code in the website that calls the playlist up but I need to be more precise as to which file is called as only one is needed.

Why ? The existing website has a page designated to a lecture with associated files there from other sources, this is where the link to the new file will be automatically created and if i can call the playlist from this link with a specific time date stamp then only the desired file will be displayed from the playlist.

Is this a feasible approach to the goal ?

Hi,

The [following forum post](https://www.wowza.com/forums/showthread.php?18899-Automatically-Generated-Playlist-of-Recorded-Videos-in-Specific-Folder) may have some relevance. I’d also check out the [StreamPublisher](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-schedule-streaming-with-wowza-streaming-engine-streampublisher%28StreamPublisher%29) module. The article includes an example client application that can be used to automatically reload schedules.
