# About new WSE 4 Application configuration

Hello,

According the upgrade guide, you can now define **Name** and **AppType** in Application.xml file.

My current setup is an origin server with an edge server. The stream type on origin is **liverepeater-origin** and stream type for edge is **liverepeater-edge**.

Which application type should be for origin server ? Live, LiveEdge or LiveHTTPOrigin ? i am not sure which differ between these application types.

Same question for edge server, it is LiveEdge ?
