Hello,

we wanted to start a Wowza Windows Server with a Nvidia Tesla K20 GPU card, but now I have found the message:

_Wowza Streaming Engine 4.0.5 deprecates support for NVIDIA CUDA encoding acceleration, which isn’t supported in the latest NVIDIA graphics drivers (340 and greater)_

_What kind of GPU transcoding will be supportet now?_

_Are the Nvidia Tesla cards “ony not supported” or do they no longer work with Wowza?_

Hi,

Please note that the deprecation mentioned in the release notes is for CUDA based hardware acceleration. Your Nvidia Tesla K20 card can use NVENC HW acceleration which is not affected.
