# 4.0.3 Working on Windows Server 2012? Anyone get it to work?

Hello,

As noted in post:

The installer seems to not find the necessary Java (JRE) on install. 3.6.4 installs no problem.

Anyone successfully install 4.0.3 on Windows server 2012 and have any tips on what it took to make the installation app recognize Javas presence on the server?

There was a problem with the Windows installer, and that has been updated. Please try installing the [4.03a release](https://www.wowza.com/downloads/WowzaStreamingEngine-4-0-3/WowzaStreamingEngine-4.0.3A.exe)

Steve, will you please zip up your /conf and /log folders and send them over to support@wowza.com for a closer look?

Salvadore, I have tried the 4.0.3A installer and it fails with the screen shots shown in the prior thread.
